Improving Healthcare Data Management with Secure and Transparent Blockchain Approaches
Abstract: Blockchain technology might address healthcare data management challenges system compatibility, privacy, and data security. Improving EHRs, clinical trials, supply chains, and medical billing systems is made possible by blockchain's decentralisation, immutability, openness, and security. Blockchain's secure, open data sharing between medical professionals might revolutionise healthcare. It allows individuals control over their health data, hence increasing trust and reducing fraud. Blockchain applications like as Medicalchain and BurstIQ demonstrate how it may improve interoperability and follow HIPAA and GDPR. Blockchain might reduce patient record errors, prevent clinical trial fraud, and accelerate medical billing. Blockchain may significantly increase efficiency, openness, and security of healthcare data. There are still problems with scalability, regulatory compliance, and integration of older systems. By broadening acceptance, creative and cooperative ideas might enhance the efficiency of the healthcare system and patient care.
