Advanced Soldier Tracking System Using Arduino and Sensor Technology
PS module for positioning tracking, GSM module for wireless connectivity and a number of sensors for monitoring brevity (such as temperature, heart rate) and movement (such as accelerometer). The processed data are transmitted from Arduino Uno to the central server or control room through GSM module. The GPS module gives the soldier precise longitude and latitude coordinates in real time for positioning update. The health data collected from the composite sensors assists in evaluating the soldier's health status and timely interventions or medical aid. All these constitutive components allow the integrated system to augment situational awareness and safety, thereby allowing military commanders to make evidence-based decisions regarding the real-time status and location of their troops.
