Healing Hands System
Medicine wastage has become a significant concern in today's healthcare system. Many individuals purchase medicines in larger quantities than required, and when doctors prescribe alternatives or when recovery occurs, the unused medicines remain idle at home. These surplus medicines are often thrown away, leading not only to wastage of valuable resources but also to potential environmental hazards. At the same time, a large section of society struggles to afford essential medicines due to financial constraints. This gap between surplus and scarcity has inspired the development of the Healing Hands System. The proposed system is a web-based on the, application that allows individuals to donate their unused but safe medicines instead of discarding them.Donors can register on the platform using OTP-based authentication to ensure secure and genuine participation.Through the application, donors will also be able to view the camps organized by NGOs and contribute their medicines accordingly.NGOs and healthcare organizations can use the platform to manage, verify, and distribute donated medicines to the needy.
