What changed in the degree of autonomy when enrolling in a training program at the Patras PEVTI during the pandemic?

In the present article, the degree of autonomy of the new entrants in training programs of the Patras PEVTI at the beginning of the academic year 2021-2022 is investigated. At the same time, the results of the present study are compared with those of the research of the previous year, as a long period of social distancing and exclusion intervened between the two studies due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The research showed that only 55% of the participants were able to complete both phases of the enrollment, online and in person, alone. The degree of autonomy of the participants during the online enrollment was reduced by 8 percentage points while the degree of autonomy during the in-person enrollment was reduced by 19 percentage points.
