The framework for the development of the recognition of previous knowledge: Field research in West Macedonia
Recognition of prior knowledge is identified to have many advantages to trainees, but also to educational institutions. Therefore, it is considered very important, which has been recognized at European level as well. The recognition of prior knowledge is the basis for realization of the learning options available to learners in formal, informal and semi-formal procedures, i.e. through formal and non-formal learning and informal learning. This means that learning outcomes are identified on the basis of the goals set by each specific process, as they are captured through the processes that have been established, such as the trainees" scores. The changing global environment indicates the need for a society that is constantly changing, renewing and diversifying, which is made the successful operation and development of the recognition of previous knowledge of major importance. In this context, the present work, through qualitative research, expects to capture the situation and the future of the recognition of the previous one, as it is captured by bodies of the chambers of Western Macedonia.
