DEVELOPMENT OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS BASED ON E-LEARNING FOR EFL STUDENTS

The use of instructional materials based on e-learning is becoming prominent as more researches are being done on the issue. Therefore, the aim of the paper is to design and develop an instructional material (IM) based on e-learning as an integrated approach to teaching. The ADDIE model was used to design and develop the e-learning course contents. The contents are related to 7 variables: tutor support, cooperation and communication in the course, technology, cost and expectation value, information transparency, course structure, and didactics. The variables were validated by 3 experts and the practicality was measured by the 2 instructors. There were 60 students who had been asked to respond about their satisfaction and expectation of the IM. The results showed the experts and the instructors judged that the IM based on e-learning was strongly valid and practical as well as the students were satisfied with the variables of the IM based on e-learning. However, instructors' perspectives and students’ responses need attention to be considered.

However, instructors' perspectives and students’ responses need attention to be considered.
