The study of the relationship between preparedness for conducting combat techniques of wrestling and the ability to perform acrobatic exercises among Ministry of Internal Affairs cadets

The purpose of the study is to determine the correlation between the readiness of cadets from the Ministry of Internal Affairs universities to perform combat techniques and their ability to execute acrobatic exercises integrated into the training methodology. Research methods and organization. Methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experiments, and methods of mathematical statistics were employed. The developed methodology for training combat techniques in wrestling was tested during classes with cadets of the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Research results and conclusions. The strong correlation identified during the study between the ability to perform acrobatic exercises and the preparedness results for conducting combat wrestling techniques among cadets has demonstrated the appropriateness of incorporating an expanded set of acrobatic exercises into the training methodology for restraint and self-defense techniques for students of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
