Pharmacological correction of liver functions of ducks with zinc a spartate compounds

The article presents the results of a study of the pharmacological effect of the compound "Aspartzinc" (zinc aspartate) on the liver function of ducks. The studies were conducted in 2024 at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Saratov State University of Genetics, Biotechnology and Engineering named after N.I. Vavilov". Thirty one-year-old Peking ducks were randomly divided into 3 groups (10 birds in each) and placed in pens of the same size (1.75 ? 6 m) using a deep litter system and a wood chip floor. The birds had free access to water and feed. "Aspartzinc" was given with feed once according to the following scheme: the first group received the basic diet (control), the second group received the basic diet + "Aspartzinc" at a dose of 1.0 mg / kg of body weight, the third group received the basic diet + "Aspartzinc" at a dose of 2 mg / kg of body weight. It has been established that there is a clear relationship between the intensity of the gluconeogenic function of the liver and the activity of antioxidant enzymes in the blood serum. The effectiveness of Aspartzinc is confirmed by a complex positive effect on the body: Aspartzinc reliably reduces the ALT level (by 10.9% at 1 mg / kg and 20.0% at 2 mg / kg), maintaining the De Ritis coefficient within the physiological norm (1.67 ± 0.27), which indicates a hepatoprotective effect. At the same time, a decrease in creatine kinase activity (by 16.7-22.2%) and urea nitrogen (by 15.3-27.3%) is noted, indicating an improvement in protein metabolism and a decrease in catabolic processes. A significant increase in catalase activity (by 17.1-27.0%) and glutathione levels (by 58.6-92.4%) demonstrates pronounced antioxidant activity. Moreover, a dose of 2 mg/kg shows a more pronounced effect on all studied parameters.
