Methology: This is a descriptive experience report with a qualitative approach. The work was built by implementing health promotion actions with an emphasis on self-care, between July and December 2022, aimed at two groups of health professionals from two Family Health Units in Jaboatão dos Guararapes-PE. The actions were carried out by 11 residents of the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Family Health. The report was categorized as follows: planning and implementation of the groups in the units; development of the actions; and evaluation of the intervention. Results: During the planning and implementation phase, the situation of high demand, the complaints of professionals at the units and the lack of initiatives for health actions for this public were discussed, which led to the creation of a proposal to intervene in this context. The proposal was then presented and the professionals were interested. In developing the actions, meetings were held in the units to practice self-care and strengthen interpersonal relationships in the workplace. The evaluation identified the intervention's limiting and empowering aspects. Conclusion: In view of the work process of the team of residents, groups were set up for professionals in the units to encourage and promote self-care, and the intervention has the potential to be applied in other work contexts. Conclusion: Given the work process of the team of residents, groups were set up for the professionals in the units to encourage and promote self-care, and the intervention has the potential to be applied in other work contexts.
