Soft Skills Cultivation Actions of an Active Citizen in a Democratic School: Blogs, Clubs

This article aims to enrich the learning environment with elements of social and emotional skills so that it is constantly democratized. Social and emotional skills are cultivated through activities in a supportive environment. The environment is alive in the classroom and in the group, digital in blogs and outside the school with a memorandum of cooperation with the Telloglio arts institution. Both the blogs and outdooreducation worked as good action research practices: With the blogs the students explored their needs at school and formed a social identity of participation. By collaborating with Telloglio, the students of the Group acquired a social identity as representatives of the school in the local community of our city.
