Virtual screens for cardiac ablation procedures in augmented reality
electrograms (EGMs) (often live EGMs and review EGMs), intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), 3D electroanatomic mapping (3D EAM) screen, mapping, and fluoroscopy. In this new system, the data from these unique and discrete data sources are hard wired to an access point that wirelessly transmits the screen data to the HMD.The virtual screen module allows users to create an individualized custom spatial layout of the chosen screens into virtual field of view (FoV).The screens to be imported, and relative size of screens, are configurable by the physician.Virtual screens can be positioned anywhere in the natural environment and are then "anchored" in place and only visible through the headset when the user looks at that area of the room. This module allows for the following functionality: move, size up/down, turn on/off.Lastly, screens can be turned off individually or the entire display can be turned off using the gaze-dwell menu according to physician preference.Similar technologies are being developed for other minimally invasive use cases (i.e., interventional radiology suite, hybrid operating room) including OmnifyXR [3] (GE HealthCare, Chicago, IL, USA; MediView XR, Cleveland, OH, USA) and Philips Azurion-Microsoft HoloLens 2 system [4-6] (Royal Philips, Amsterdam, Netherlands). In this case series, we test the early feasibility and usability of the CommandEP v2.1 system with a virtual screen module in a swine model undergoing an EP study. Case reportAfter 3 femoral venous access points were obtained in a swine by a veterinary technician, 4 operators performed a series of tasks using the CommandEP v2 with virtual screen system. The user group ranged from early in career (< 5 years from fellowship, n = 2) to established (> 10 years from fellowship, n = 2) and were varied in their previous experience using the CommandEP system with 2 users having used the
