Criteria for determining the degree of difficulty per language level in the production of written language

The need for reliable and fair assessment of written production led to the finding, development and processing of criteria by which the level of language proficiency and the degree of readability of a produced text can be measured and evaluated. Thus, 316 texts of the State Certificate of Language Proficiency of the Italian Language for the period November 2015 and May 2016 were used by chance by Greek candidates which were digitized digitally in word format and were measured in the Read-IT tool (Dylan Tool). The data were processed with SPSS 24 software, which shows that Greek users of Italian level B1 and B2 produce texts by language level and degree of difficulty based on features, interwoven with vocabulary, grammar and syntax. So, e.g. Vocabulary density, spelling, sentence consistency, number of sentences, length of words are essential ingredients in text production and help create more reliable tests for all candidates.
