Implementation of the innovative practice "The bicycle" in students of 2nd grade of primary school of Thessaloniki

This study presents a scenario of an innovative teaching approach of "Traffic Education and Road Safety" applied to the Greek education system in elementary school. The purpose of the teaching scenario is for school education to respond to modern pedagogical-educational as well as social and technological developments. Through technology and enjoyable activities students should learn properly from the age of seven to ride a bicycle safely. The innovative scenario focuses on the core principles of the Total Quality Management philosophy in education, which is to focus on the needs of students, the continuous improvement and involvement of all involved.
