Towards Benchmarking in Pediatric Intestinal Rehabilitation Units: Insights from a High-Volume Referral Center
Background: Access to intestinal rehabilitation and transplantation units (IRTUs) is still limited worldwide, leading to disparities in care. Long-term outcome analysis from established centers is essential to define best practices and develop standardized benchmarking strategies. This study aims to assess the evolution of key performance indicators in a pediatric IRTU over two distinct periods (Era 1: 1996-2010; Era 2: 2011-2024)
