Wet Beriberi in intestinal failure due to intravenous vitamin shortage
Background: Thiamine deficiency can cause life-threatening complications in parenteral nutrition (PN)-dependent patients. We present a case highlighting the impact of an international intravenous multivitamin shortage, emphasizing the need to monitor water-soluble vitamin levels.
