A longitudinal single cell analysis of GLP-2 treatment in the patients with short bowel syndrome
Background: GLP-2 analogs are used clinically to enhance nutrient absorption in short bowel syndrome (SBS). However, the dynamics of the epithelial cells during treatment remain unclear. To elucidate these dynamics, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) of mucosa from patients with SBS treated with GLP-2 analogs chronologically with their clinical course.
