Long-Term Surveillance of the Arterial Conduit with Ultrasound/doppler after Multivisceral Transplantation
IL-10 levels in systemic lactate administration group (p<0.05 vs. I/R group) while no differences were found for oral lactate administration group Conclusions: Preliminary results indicated that lactate pretreatment, administered either by oral or systemic route, reduced remote organ damage in an intestinal ischemiareperfusion murine model.Further studies are needed to investigate the underlying mechanisms.
