Optimization study of steam power system in iron and steel mills considering waste heat utilization
Waste heat utilization is an important way to realize energy saving and emission reduction in iron and steel enterprises. Thi s study analyzes the waste heat resource value from the thermodynamic characteristics of the waste heat resource and the waste heat utilization revenue. In addition, we build a joint optimization model of waste heat utilization system and steam power system to optimize and analyze the impact of waste heat utilization on the operation of steam power system, and correctly evaluate the economic and carbon emission reduction benefits of waste heat utilization. The results show that under different operating conditions of waste heat equipment, the total revenue of the system is increased by 31.90 million CNY and 32.64 million CNY respectively, and the carbon emissions of the system are reduced by 132335 tCO2 and 118677 tCO2 respectively.
