El juego simbólico y su influencia en el desarrollo socioemocional en educación inicial
This article analyzes symbolic play as a pedagogical tool in early childhood education, focusing on determining the impact of play on the social-emotional development of children between the ages of 3 and 5. Through a systematic review and bibliography, we examined how symbolic play fosters skills such as empathy, cooperation, emotional regulation, and resilience, contributing to the overall well-being of the student. The research results highlight that symbolic play not only stimulates cognitive and motor development, but also strengthens social interactions and emotional expression, mitigating challenges such as family and educational stress. It concludes that promoting symbolic play in educational and family environments is essential for balanced development, recommending teacher training and inclusive play environments.
