Material Entanglements and Craftsmanship in the Bronze Age Aegean: Respondents’ Commentary

Critical assessment of the ECR papers within the framework of the MASt project, and in light of its values of intergenerational exchange, openness across disciplines, methodological and theoretical innovation, and the empowerment of early-stage researchers. By supporting excellence in research at all career stages, the MASt project is committed to advancing specialized debates while shaping the future directions of Aegean Studies. This commentary therefore seeks to make visible the reciprocal relationship between the individual research presented here by the next generation of colleagues and the collective agenda of MASt—an agenda grounded in collaboration, critical reflection, and shared responsibility for the growth of our field.
