The Influence of Community Environment on Life Satisfaction among Senior Citizens - Focusing on the Sequential Mediating Effects of Social Relationships and Health Status
This study aimed to empirically examine how social relationships and health status sequentially mediate the link between community environment and life satisfaction among senior citizens. The results indicate that the community environment significantly contributes to improving life satisfaction in older adults, with social relationships and health status serving as critical sequential mediators. These findings demonstrate the need for an integrated policy approach that goes beyond improving the physical environment to also foster social engagement and promote health maintenance, thereby enhancing overall life satisfaction among the elderly.
