A Direct Three-Phase Duty Cycle Model Predictive Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
The multi vector control of continuous control set model predictive control has excellent expression in control performance, current harmonics, etc., but the process of selecting the optimal vector for the cost function and calculating the duty cycle also leads to heavy computational burden. In response to this issue, this paper proposes a new direct three-phase duty cycle model predictive control (DTDC-MPC) method, which constructs a virtual base vector and synthesizes the reference voltage vector using the virtual vector to obtain the duty cycle of the virtual base vector. Then, based on the spatial relationship between the virtual base vector and the three-phase voltage vectors on the ABC-axes, the duty cycle of the three-phase voltage can be directly obtained, realizing the direct calculation of the three-phase voltage duty cycle, effectively reducing the controller computational complexity and alleviating the heavy computational burden on hardware. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.
