Dual-Vector Predictive Current Control of LC-Filtered Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor System
The permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system with an output LC filter (LC-PMSM) constitutes a third-order system, complicating controller design. The existing control methods tend to be complex regarding control structure and parameter tuning, posing challenges for practical implementation. To address the aforementioned issues, this paper proposes a dual-vector predictive current control (DV-PCC) strategy for LC-PMSM drives. First, an inductor current predictive model is derived to enable indirect stator current vector control. Second, a low-complexity DV-PCC scheme is designed to minimize computational burden while retaining dynamic performance. The proposed DV-PCC strategy demonstrates enhanced steady-state performance compared to conventional single-vector predictive current control. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed strategy is verified through simulations.
