Study of risk management models in IT projects held by the distributed teams working asynchronously
This study examines risk management models specifically designed for IT projects. Such projects are executed by distributed teams that work asynchronously. The authors delve into the unique challenges faced by such teams, emphasizing the need for effective risk management strategies to enhance project success in this context. It emphasizes the difficulties that arise from geographically and temporally dispersed teams that suffer from communication problems and time differences. This leads to project delays and budget overruns. The study reviews the existing literature on ERP project management and identifies the main risks. In addition, it proposes methods for managing risks and explores the potential role of artificial intelligence in analyzing project prolongation and cost implications. It emphasizes the need for improved management tools and clearer communication strategies for virtual teams. The results are aimed at improving project management practices for teams facing significant time and resource constraints.
