Prototype Implementation of a Fingerprint Scanner with Prospects for Blockchain and LoRaWAN Integration
Biometric fingerprint recognition is a reliable authentication method, but its integration with blockchain and LoRaWAN offers enhanced security and efficiency. This paper presents the development of a prototype fingerprint scanner and explores its potential integration with blockchain for decentralized identity verification and LoRaWAN for secure long-range data transmission. The study covers hardware and software implementation, including fingerprint recognition algorithms and cryptographic methods. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of secure, decentralized authentication with low-power communication, highlighting potential applications in remote authentication and industrial security.
