Synergistic catalysis of VN quantum dots and S/N heteroatoms enabling fast reaction kinetics for lithium–sulfur batteries

This work reports an advanced sulfur host integrating VN quantum dots and S/N heteroatoms as dual catalytic sites for lithium-sulfur batteries, which can significantly facilitate the adsorption and conversion of soluble lithium polysulfides, thereby endowing lithium-sulfur batteries with high reversible specific capacity and excellent cycling stability.
