EFFECT OF CHRONIC ANKLE INSTABILITY ON DYNAMIC BALANCE, ANKLE RANGE OF MOTION, AND FUNCTIONAL MOBILITY IN FOOTBALL PLAYERS
AIM:-Chronic ankle instability (CAI) has been defined as a disabling condition or the occurrence of the repetitive bouts of lateral ankle instability that results in various lateral ankle sprains.Aim of this study is to find the effect of CAI on dynamic balance, functional mobility, and ankle ROM. METHOD: -an observational cross-sectional study was conducted on 170professional and non-professional football players from clubs from DELHI NCR. Cumberland ankle instability tool was used to differentiate athletes from non-CAI athletes. The study evaluated the effect of CAI on balance, ROM, functional ability of the ankle.RESULT: -The study investigated effect of CAI on dynamic balance, ROM, functional mobility.the study showed a significance correlation between variables AROM and dynamic balance in most correlation with most reaches of SEBT (P<0.05).there was no correlation of 10MWT with AROM, SEBT.Multiple regression shows
