Warm greetings from the Editor's Desk! The world today is passing through challenging times, and in such situations, women's health often bears the heaviest burden. It is our collective responsibility as healthcare providers to remain sensitive and proactive in preventing the many health problems women face due to lack of awareness and timely care.Unfortunately, women's health is not only neglected by society and families but also by women themselves, who often place their well-being as the lowest priority. Many women live with unspoken health concerns that they hesitate to share openly. As committed healthcare providers, our role goes beyond treating diseases-it is equally about prevention, support, and empowerment of women and their families across all age-groups.The challenges become more pronounced with advancing age, particularly in the perimenopausal and menopausal phases, when multiple health issues emerge.Among these, pelvic floor dysfunction is a significant concern, leading to disorders such as urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, vaginismus, and others. These conditions not only disrupt daily life but also compromise women's confidence and dignity.Prevention and rehabilitation of pelvic floor dysfunction-especially around childbirth-are crucial, as they directly affect bladder, bowel, and sexual function.Creating awareness among pregnant, postpartum, and affected women is essential.Today, we have a wide range of tools and techniques available, beyond the traditional Kegel's exercises.Biofeedback mechanisms with sensors and visual guidance, manual therapies, and advanced technologies such as radiofrequency equipment, automatic Kegel trainers, and modern lasers can help women strengthen and rehabilitate pelvic floor muscles effectively.Where conservative approaches fail, surgical options remain available. In addition, practices such as yoga, meditation, and timely initiation of menopausal hormone therapy also provide immense benefits. This issue brings to you some wonderful publications that I am confident will enrich your knowledge and practice.I also take this opportunity to remind you that the SAFOG Conference will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 7th-9th November 2025.I warmly invite you all to participate in large numbers and contribute by presenting your valuable research at this prestigious collaborative platform.
