Estrategias metodológicas activas para fortalecer la expresión oral en estudiantes de primaria

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the application of active methodological strategies influences the development of oral expression in primary school students in Peru. A quasi-experimental design was used with two groups of fifth-grade students (sections A and B), who were evaluated through a checklist that measured different aspects of their oral expression. The data obtained were processed using Excel software. The results show that students in the experimental group achieved a 43% improvement in their oral expression, with notable progress in intonation (11%), pronunciation (48%), vocabulary use (50%), and narration (63%). These findings indicate that students now speak with greater clarity, confidence, and adequacy. In conclusion, the implementation of active methodological strategies had a significant impact on the development of oral expression in fifth-grade students.
