Research on Cultivating the Practical Ability of Postgraduates in Civil Engineering and Hydraulic Engineering through the Collaboration of "Ideological and Political Education - Major - Practice" Empowered by Doctoral Counselors
This paper focuses on the cultivation of practical ability of civil and hydraulic engineering postgraduates under the background of "Emerging Engineering Education", with the intelligence of civil and hydraulic engineering as the core direction, and deeply explores the key role of doctoral counselors in the collaborative education of "ideological and political education -major -practice".Through literature research, investigation and analysis, and case studies, it clarifies the role orientation of doctoral counselors in the field of civil and hydraulic engineering intelligence, excavates the ideological and political elements in practical projects such as BIM technology application in hydraulic engineering and digital twin in geotechnical engineering, and constructs a multi-party collaborative education mechanism. The study finds that doctoral counselors, relying on their dual advantages in academic and ideological and political education, can effectively promote the in-depth integration of ideological and political education and professional practice.By innovatively developing integrated resources and diversified ideological and political practice activities, they provide postgraduates with rich learning and practice opportunities. This research not only enriches the theoretical system of "Emerging Engineering Education" talent cultivation, but also provides practical plans for universities to optimize talent training programs, promote teaching reform, and innovate school-enterprise cooperation, meeting the urgent demand of the industry for compound talents, and thus having important theoretical and practical value.
