AN ANALYSIS ON DISPOSAL OF CONSUMER CASES WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE OF BIRBHUM CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL FORUM

The consumer Protection Act 2019 has been enforced in order to redress the grievances of the consumers as a replacement to the Consumer Protection Act 1986.In this present study the author aims at focusing the role of consumer District Redressal Commission in Birbhum to redress the grievances of the consumers.Here the author collects the data of five years for the disputes cases registered in the Birbhum District Consumer Commission.This study is the combination of doctrinal and non-doctrinal method where, Secondary data has been collected by the author from various sources like newspapers, Journals, Periodicals and online searching website for consumer Disputes Cases (Confonet).Primary data has been collected by vising the Birbhum District Commission.
