Thermodynamic implications and bounce cosmology in f(𝒬,𝒞) gravity: A reconstruction approach
This research examines the viability of cosmic bounce solutions to explore cosmic evolution in the context of [Formula: see text], where non-metricity is denoted by [Formula: see text] and the boundary term is represented by [Formula: see text]. For this purpose, we study the behavior of a flat Friedmann–Robertson–Walker universe model with isotropic matter configuration. We reconstruct the functional form of this modified gravity using the e-folding number to examine how this gravitational framework influences cosmic evolution. Moreover, we use this reconstruction model to examine the various cosmological parameters, exploring the presence of feasible cosmological bounce solutions. We also assess the validity of the second law of thermodynamics in this context. The positive trend of energy density, negative pressure profile and violation of energy conditions support the existence of viable cosmological bounce scenario in this framework. It is found that this gravitational theory exhibits viable alternative to the standard cosmological frameworks, enhancing our comprehension of gravitational dynamics and the evolutionary pathways of the early universe.
