Generalized Ellis–Bronnikov wormhole structures in symmetric Teleparallel gravity
The traversability of the wormhole is unavoidably associated with the violation of null energy conditions. This violation signifies the presence of non-ordinary fluid or exotic fluid as threading matter of the wormhole throat, which possesses the negative energy required to hold it open. In recent years, studies have been done to solve this problem to avoid exotic matter. In the present paper, we explore the Generalized Ellis–Bronnikov wormholes in the context of symmetric teleparallel theories of gravity. By considering the different forms of [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] is the non-metricity scalar and Generalized Ellis–Bronnikov (GEB) space time, we present a class of solutions for spherically symmetric wormholes. We observe that the GEB line element provides a possibility of wormhole geometry in which violation of the null energy condition may be avoided near the wormhole throat.
