Redução de custos e preservação da pintura original: Benefícios do método martelinho de ouro
This article analyzes the benefits of the Paintless Dent Repair method, known in Brazil as Martelinho de Ouro, compared to traditional bodywork and painting, highlighting cost reduction and the preservation of the original paint as its main advantages. The study aimed to evaluate the relevance of the technique not only from a technical perspective, but also considering its economic, environmental, and market implications. The methodology was applied in nature, with a qualitative approach and descriptive and exploratory character, based on bibliographic review and documentary analysis of sources published between 2015 and 2025. The results indicated that Paintless Dent Repair provides an average cost reduction of 30% to 50% compared to conventional methods, in addition to reducing repair time and environmental impact by eliminating the intensive use of paints and solvents. It was also found that preserving the factory paint contributes to greater vehicle appreciation in the resale market, reinforcing consumer confidence. It is concluded that the technique represents not only an efficient repair resource, but also a strategic practice that integrates economy, sustainability, and asset appreciation.
