Neuropsychological Rehabilitation of Attention: Single-Case Experimental Design
Abstract The relationship between pediatric epilepsy and attentional deficits has been shown in many studies. The present study aimed to develop a neuropsychological rehabilitation program for attentional processes in a 10-year and 7-month-old child with epilepsy and to illustrate how to evaluate its efficacy through visual analysis of graphed data. The intervention partially and specifically reduced the child's number of distractions during the observed activities. The methodology employed provides a framework for planning, implementing, and evaluating neuropsychological rehabilitation programs.
