Research on Network Security Protection Strategies for XenServer Virtualization Platform

Along with the rapid progress of virtualization technology, XenServer, an efficient open source platform, has been widely used in data centers and cloud computing environments, and the increasing complexity of virtualized infrastructure brings brand new challenges to network security. This study comprehensively analyzes the critical security threats and vulnerabilities of the XenServer platform, and then proposes a multilayered network security strategy that focuses on the isolation mechanism of virtual machines, the control of access privileges, the monitoring of network traffic, the specific configuration of firewalls, the timely management of patches, and the proper protection of data. Comparing the traditional security policy with the XenServer-specific policy, we can clearly see the special needs of virtualized environments. The results of the study show that this policy can effectively enhance the security, stability and reliability of virtualized systems, which provides a theoretical reference and practical guidance for the future evolution of the technology.
