Objective: This study systematically reviews the relevant literature in the field of digital health literacy of older adults in the digital age, analyzes the research hotspots and frontiers in this field, and provides references for further empirical research on digital health literacy. Methods: Taking the Web of Science core collection as the literature source, this study use CiteSpace 6.3. R1 software to screen and conduct a visual analysis of literature related to digital health literacy published between January 1, 2009, and December 4, 2024. Results: A total of 113 articles were included. The annual publication volume exhibited an overall fluctuating growth trend. Research focuses on topics such as basic literacy and education, technology and application scenarios, health management and special populations. Conclusion: Research on digital health literacy among older adults is still an international research hotspot, but there is a large gap in research progress between countries. There is an urgent need to strengthen regional collaboration and international cooperation, as well as to conduct in-depth exploration of intervention strategies for improving digital health literacy among older adults, thereby contributing to the achievement of healthy aging.
