The article analyzes the current situation of English self-study among students at Hanoi Law University within the credit-based training system. It focuses on various aspects including learning methods, study duration, study locations, facilities, supporting tools, and the role of lecturers in guiding this activity. Based on these findings, the study proposes practical solutions to improve the effectiveness of self-studying legal English, thereby meeting the learning outcome standards and equipping students with the necessary skills for a multinational working environment.
