La Matemática es Fundamental para la Biodiversidad
Biodiversity is essential for the balance of the ecosystem, the stability of the environment and, of course, for human well-being. Despite its importance, biodiversity faces increased threats due to human activities, such as deforestation, pollution and climate change. These threats underscore the need for tools that can help analyze, predict, and manage biodiversity conservation. This is where mathematics has a crucial role, specifically in data collection and analysis. Mathematical models allow scientists to study the interaction between species, predict the effects of human activities about the environment and make informed conservation decisions.
