Many studies have been done that show a correlation between higher test take rates and more professionalism in the HRM function as well as strong performance predictors for a variety of job types. The popularity and utility of psychometric assessments has evolved into a multimillion business. This study explores the leadership and managerial abilities and qualities that are prevalent, dominant or dormant in the top and senior level management. The findings of the investigation imply that understanding psychology is crucial in addition to understanding how to administer psychometric exams. Keywords: - psychometric assessment, leadership, managerial effectiveness, profiling
