Solving Tuberculosis Transmission Models with High Order Runge-Kutta Method

This study addresses the numerical solution of tuberculosis transmission models by applying the 4th-order Runge-Kutta method. The mathematical models considered include the classical SIR, SITR, and SEIR frameworks, which are widely used to describe the dynamics of infectious diseases. The 4th-order Runge-Kutta method is chosen due to its balance between computational efficiency and high accuracy, providing reliable approximations without requiring excessive initial values or complex derivative computations. Through numerical simulations, the method demonstrates its effectiveness in capturing the nonlinear behavior of tuberculosis transmission, offering insights into the spread and control of the disease. The results indicate that the Runge-Kutta method of 4th order can serve as a robust and practical tool for solving epidemic models, supporting both theoretical investigations and public health decision-making.
