O USO DE INTELIGÊNCIAS ARTIFICIAIS NA PRÁTICA DE ENFERMAGEM: DESAFIOS ATUAIS E PERSPECTIVAS FUTURAS

Objective: To identify the perspectives on the use of AI in nursing and the paths for implementing these technologies in care delivery environments. Methods: This is an integrative review of the qualitative literature, with analysis of articles published between 2019 and 2024 in the BVS and SciELO databases. Studies that directly addressed the use of AI in nursing were selected, with a focus on machine learning algorithms and clinical support systems. Data analysis was qualitative, categorizing the interventions and results of the articles. Literature Review: The review identified that AIs have great potential to optimize the workload of the nursing team, predict adverse events, and personalize patient care. However, it was observed that resistance to the adoption of these technologies and the need for continuous training still represent challenges. AI has also proven to be useful in organizing tasks, reducing overload and allowing nurses to focus on more complex interventions. Final considerations: The implementation of AI in nursing can significantly improve patient care and optimize professionals' time. However, it is necessary to overcome challenges such as resistance to change and invest in continuous training of the team for effective adoption of these technologies.
