EVOLUTION OF MEANS OF REHABILITATION OF THE UPPER EXTREMITIES

The paper examines the data of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), estimates of analysts of the Moscow Innovation Agency on the number of people with disabilities, including those with amputation defects of limbs. The existing features of the global market of rehabilitation devices, the state of production of bioengineered prostheses of the upper extremities are presented. The classification of prostheses of the upper extremities is considered: cosmetic, functional-cosmetic, active and working.
