The paper provides an illustrated description of a new nematode species Thalassomonhystera longicaudata sp. nov., discovered in the coral reefs in Vietnam. The new species morphologically similar to Th. tenuis Gagarin, Nguyen Vu Thanh, 2008, but can be distinguished by its longer bodies, longer and slenderer tail, longer outer labial setae and longer spicules.
