Agile Methods in Teaching Digital Engineering
This paper explores the philosophy and significance of agile teaching, emphasizing student responsibility and engagement. In agile teaching, while lecturers define the learning objectives and create the necessary conditions, students set personal goals and manage factors such as motivation and workload. Agile teaching promotes student responsibility for their own learning and encourages dialogue between students and lecturers to adapt to changing conditions. Using the eduScrum methodology, the course design includes three structured sprints that promote continuous feedback, team collaboration and individual accountability. The approach enhances both content understanding and ownership, empowering students to drive change in autonomous teams.
