Strategies used by seasoned nurse practitioners or identified by artificial intelligence to encourage nurse practitioners in practice to publish
ABSTRACT Publications by nurse practitioners (NPs) broaden the exposure of nurses in NP roles, share their expertise, and contribute to nursing science, thus highlighting the work of NPs. We have observed that NP educators are more likely to engage in scholarly activities, such as publishing, than NPs who practice in clinical settings. We discuss our experiences with strategies that encourage practicing NPs to publish then compare these with strategies uncovered by a query of artificial intelligence (ChatGPT).
