Mapping Trends and Challenges in Electrical and Information Engineering Education
The trajectory of education in electrical and information engineering (EIE) is shaped by numerous factors that influence its trends and outcomes. Although an analysis of the past in the EIE educational field is not essential to define future developments, a retrospective on what and how has been achieved can benefit its community of educators. This reflection can provide perspectives on the journey taken, its current state, and the directions to follow. Therefore, with the mentioned objective in mind, this paper reviews the work presented at the European Association for Education in Electrical and Information Engineering (EAEEIE) conferences, from the year 2017 to 2024.
