Experiences with multiple choice examinations in basic electric network and field theory

This paper describes my experiences in the seventies (1970…) with multiple choice examinations in basic electric engineering: more specifically basic electric network analysis and basic field theory. Several examples of questions will be given. More important from the didactic point of view is the statistics one can make afterwards. This may give rise to an improvement of the lecture notes and the lessons.

Abstract

This paper describes my experiences in the seventies (1970…) with multiple choice examinations in basic electric engineering: more specifically basic electric network analysis and basic field theory. Several examples of questions will be given. More important from the didactic point of view is the statistics one can make afterwards. This may give rise to an improvement of the lecture notes and the lessons.
