Blockchain-based Interference Management for 6G Heterogeneous Networks
The sixth-generation (6G) mobile communication networks will integrate terrestrial mobile communication, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication, and satellite communication to build the space-air-ground integrated network to meet the growing demand for ubiquitous intelligent communication. The increasing density and diversity of communication nodes exacerbates the problem of internal and external interference in heterogeneous networks. How to effectively manage ever-growing interference for 6G has become an urgent issue. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based interference management scheme for heterogeneous networks. Blockchain is employed to support 6G interference management, utilizing smart contract to carry out automatic interference analysis and enable dynamic policy-based interference management. In the meanwhile, we introduce the "interference equivalent" as the considering factor for the consensus mechanism. The proposed scheme overcomes the shortcomings of traditional PoET (Proof of Elapsed Time) algorithms so as to improve the transaction throughput and network efficiency.
