Analyzing Antenna Proximity Influence on the Human Body from an Educational Perspective
With the continuous advancement of communication equipment and its increasing proximity to the human body, concerns regarding electromagnetic exposure have become a critical area of research. Modern communication technologies provide numerous benefits, including enhanced information transmission efficiency and the growing application of antennas as sensors for medical diagnostics and radar systems. Their versatility and ease of integration make them indispensable components in contemporary devices. However, public awareness of potential health risks associated with electromagnetic exposure remains limited. To address these concerns, a comprehensive analysis of electromagnetic effects, including their integration into engineering education, is essential for understanding the influencing parameters. This paper explores the methods and limits considered for optimizing the performance of high-frequency antennas, analyzed from both a designer's perspective and that of students preparing for careers in the field. Additionally, several projects will be presented, focusing on the effects of RFID, MIMO, and planar antennas on different parts of the human body, with particular emphasis on the head.
